Moms + caregivers

You take care of everyone. You deserve somewhere to put some of it down.

This page is for the women doing the invisible work — the kind that doesn't show up on anyone's calendar but takes up all the room.

You're not simply busy. You're carrying a workload nobody sees.

  • Advocating in rooms that don't always listen
  • Appointments, evaluations and waiting rooms
  • School systems, paperwork and phone calls
  • Research at midnight about something new
  • Decisions nobody else can make for you
  • Hypervigilance that never fully switches off
  • The emotional weight you don't say out loud
Lisa Malkin, mother and energy practitioner

Lisa knows this life personally

Some kinds of tired can't be fixed with sleep.

I'm raising a son with special needs. I know the advocacy, the systems, the appointments and the quiet worry about what comes next.

There is nothing wrong with loving your child fiercely and admitting that carrying all of it can be exhausting. Both of those are true at once, and you don't have to apologize for either.

I also volunteer with other special-needs parents, and they are some of the strongest people I know — which is exactly why they deserve somewhere to be taken care of too.

What these sessions are

This support is for you — the person doing the carrying.

Sessions are focused on your own wellbeing: settling your nervous system, releasing what you've absorbed, and giving you an hour where you're not responsible for anyone else.

To be clear: energy work is not a treatment for your child's disability, medical condition or diagnosis, and nothing here replaces medical or therapeutic care. This is care for you.

You don't have to hold all of it today.
